Responsibilities
• Steering of the entire planning and implementation phase in projects and programmes until successful completion.
• Primarily concerning our e-commerce platform, but also for the further development of the entire application landscape as well as IT infrastructure.
• Continuous monitoring and communication of project progress (including deadlines, budget, quality, risks and changes).
• Identifying delays and cost drivers in projects and developing alternative solutions.
• Communication and close cooperation with other departments and external service providers.
• Further development of professional project management in IT & business teams.
What you should have
• 8-10 years of experience in managing parallel projects with multi-disciplinary teams, e.g. as an IT consultant or in the field of management consulting.
• Strong knowledge of classic project management and ideally first contact with agile project management
• Sound knowledge of project management tools (preferably JIRA Agile® or Confluence®)
• Experience in lateral leadership or leadership in a matrix organisation
• Proactive approach, decision-making and assertiveness skills and a strong will to implement and change
• Solution-oriented mindset and detail-oriented, focused way of working
• Business fluent in German and good English skills for active communication
